The ex-daughter-in-law of a billionaire Boris Zubitsky, Victoria Kazak, has put the most expensive apartment in Moscow up for sale

The owner of Moscow’s priciest apartment has been revealed: the former daughter-in-law of late dollar billionaire and State Duma deputy Boris Zubitsky now owns the extravagant penthouse on Prechistenskaya Embankment, valued at 4.3 billion rubles.

So, the owner of the 413 m² apartment with a view of the "Muzeon" and the Peter I monument is businesswoman 49-year-old Victoria Kazak. Her father-in-law was deputy Boris Zubitsky, who founded the huge Kemerovo Industrial Metallurgical Holding with the main asset being PJSC "Koks" (minerals, coal, ore, pig iron). In 2017, Zubitsky passed away. A dispute began over his inheritance and shares between his sons Evgeny and Andrey Zubitsky , which also involved the latter’s wife, Victoria Kazak, to whom her husband soon transferred 16% of "Koks" shares. Legal proceedings between Victoria and Evgeny Zubitsky began.

But in 2021, Victoria abruptly withdrew all lawsuits, sold her share in "Koks" (the shares were valued at $100 million), and exited the company. An interesting coincidence: it was in this year that she became the owner of the fantastically expensive apartment in Moscow. The very one that once belonged to her father-in-law Boris Zubitsky.

And now Kazak is selling the property. She is asking for 4,287,032,000 rubles for the six-room apartment in the elite residential complex Copper House. For this money, you will get: three bedrooms with their own bathrooms and walk-in closets, an office, a gym, a guest bathroom, and a laundry room. Everything is finished with expensive wood, marble, and leather.

To take such an apartment on a mortgage with an initial payment of 1 billion at an interest rate of 21% for 20 years, the monthly payment would be 58.5 million rubles.
